America is a fascist state and Steve Rogers, the Supreme Leader of Hydra, stands victorious. With most of the world's heroes trapped within the Manhattan Darkforce bubble or outside the Earth's atmosphere, the only hope left is a fractured resistance. While Iron Man's forces struggle to find the fragments of the Cosmic Cube scattered around the world, the Black Widow and her team take a more pragmatic approach to solving the crisis — kill Steve Rogers.
