The year is 1602. As the Elizabethan era draws to a close, England is troubled by unearthly storms and rumours of powerful, inhuman beings stalking the land. Across Europe strangely familiar heroes and villains, including Nick Fury, Spider-Man, the X-Men and Dr Doom are drawn into an intricate plot of treason and treachery. A plot that may well have the power to bring about the end of their world.
